SalesWarrior for the Palm Computing Platform is specifically designed to track sales opportunities, leads, referrals, actual sales, profits, costs, sales tax and commissions.

SalesWarrior lets you record the following vital information:

• Name of the sales account (which can be accessed and copied directly from the native Palm address list)
• Item or service for the sale
• Quantity of items sold
• Sales Price of item or service (can also enter more that one price, if necessary)
• Cost of item or service with a Part Number (if necessary)
• Profit to be made
• Stage of sale (Suspect, Demo, Proposal, or a sales stage that you create)
• Open and close date of sale
• Probability of sale occurring
• Source of sale
• Competition for sale
• Sales Tax
• Alarm for sale

Desktop Integration

After the capture of the vital sales data on your Palm Computing connected organizer, you can then sort and filter the data, copy the data to the handheld device Memo Pad application, and then export the data to your PC. On your desktop, you can view the data in a text file, Microsoft Word document or Excel spreadsheet. You can also import sale list items from the handheld device Memo Pad application.

How to View Sales Data

SalesWarrior is designed to give an overview of sales opportunities. Sales data is organized in columns with descriptive headers. By tapping the downward pointing arrow next a header, you can select other data types to view. For example, in the views below the headers are date, account, and total. The sales data is organized to show sales for each separate account and total sales. By tapping the downward pointing arrow next to account, sales data can be viewed by open date, stage of sale, source, etc. The data can also be viewed by specific category. Just tap the downward pointing arrow at the upper right of the screen.

Advanced Sorting Capabilities

SalesWarrior sorts sales opportunities for quick viewing. By selecting the Show button, a Sort By...List will appear. You can then sort by account, stage of sale, open date, competition, etc. For example, if you have to produce a sales report detailing where you are generating sales for your sales manager, you can quickly sort your sales opportunities by source in this view. Or, if you want to see how your competitors are directly affecting your sales, then just sort by competition.

Select the Show button to access advanced sorting features. You can sort by Account, Stage, etc.

Weighted Total and Weighted Commission Calculators

How are sales doing for the month?
How many sales opportunities are open?
How many sales opportunities are closed?
How much will sales quota be exceeded?
What is the projected commission total and income for the period?
What is the estimated profit?

Quickly view how many sale opportunities are open, how many have closed and how many were lost. Switch the view to Stage. In this view, project how sales efforts are proceeding.

With the use of the Weighted Total, Weighted Commission and Weighted Profit drop-down feature, you can determine the probability of the sale occurring multiplied by the sales total, sales commission, or by profit. This is a great tool for tracking whether you are on track to meet the monthly sales quota or to determine how much commission will be earned this month.

By tapping the downward arrow next to Total,
you view Weighted Totals and Weighted Commissions.
