(MS-HUG) today announced the winners of the 2003 Industry Solution Awards
for Healthcare (ISAH) and winners of the Microsoft User of the Year Awards.
The annual awards program recognizes the most innovative healthcare organizations

This software uses an innovative combination of mobile
Internet technologies to connect physicians, paramedics, hospitals and
dispatchers through online wireless data communication. The CCTU system
transmits patient information to Sunnybrook's on-call physician via a
wireless handheld device - either Pocket PC or RIM Blackberry. The physician
reviews patient information online and submits medical orders directly
to the paramedics, already en route. The paramedics receive orders on
their RIM Blackberry device and prepare for an efficient pick-up at the
hospital.
